Bryce & Christy have spent the last few years as Auckland Regional Campus Directors Auckland for Massey Albany Universities. They share a ministry to first year Christian students starting on campus, as well as reaching out to non-Christian students through a variety of campus-centered ministries.

Bryce is a New Zealand citizen. Christy is the daughter of our own missionaries, Wes and Suzie Brenneman.

The goal of their ministry is to train students to effectively share their faith with other students and disciple those new converts to maturity. They are seeing fruit, as some of the other students are leading friends to Christ.

PERSONAL

Married in Auckland, New Zealand.

Bryce and Christy met through their church youth choir. They were on a choir trip and both noticed each other that weekend. They started dating in February 1985. The most unique thing about them at the time was the age difference. She was 15 and he was 20 but Christy was the first girlfriend Bryce ever had.

Once when Christy and her family took furlough in the states for 4� months, Bryce came to visit with them. It was a very special memory for Christy and a wonderful trip.

Christy grew up on the mission field with her parents, so she always felt the desire to serve God, however, she wanted to make sure that she was not just leaping into it because of her parents so she decided to work in the secular world for about 5 years. It helped her determine that it truly was her desire as she felt God's calling on her life.

Bryce wasn't that sure about being a missionary when they first married, but God gave him some great opportunities, which extended his vision and he reached the point where he realized that he wanted to be involved in evangelism and discipleship on a full-time basis.

Soon they joined Campus Crusade for Christ because they had a place for their gifts and talents.
