Hosts - Welcomes people and makes them feel at home. Pre-requisite: Hearty smile! We need subs for weekend services as well as special events. Email Deby Brown or 714.777.7306.
Info Kiosks - We need subs/floaters to help at the kiosks, especially Saturday nights. Be the "answer person" - we will train! Email Deby Brown or 714.777.7306.
Shuttle Drivers - This ministry helps during the Sunday services to shuttle people from the Packing House to our Worship Center. Many drivers also have great experiences driving for different ministry events where their schedules allow and have been greatly blessed. If you do not have a class B license we can help you attain it and cover all costs. Commitment is once or twice a month commitment. Email Steve Craig or contact by phone 714.777.7310.

Hospital/Shut-in Visitation Team - This ministry provides the ill, aged and physically frail among us with encouragement, support, comfort and care. It includes visiting those in the hospital, a nursing home and/or shut-ins at home over both short- and long-term periods. We take the opportunity to pray with each person and help with other family needs when appropriate. Please contact Cindy Gosting at cindyg@ylfc.org or 714.777.7384 on how to become involved.
Senior Home Ministry - Senior Home Ministry reaches out into our community to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We have Sunday Morning services, midweek Bible studies and music nights with hymns. We are currently looking for volunteers who are willing to visit, sing, teach, or play a musical instrument. Sunday Service Leader - Sunday service leaders are people who attend our weekly Sunday morning services and focus on building relationships with students during this time. Their responsibilities include identifying new and loner students to sit with, and participating in different elements of the weekend service. Time Commitment: 1-3 hours per week. Host Homes - Host homes are people who open their home on Wednesday nights 6:00pm-9:00pm, from September through May for small groups to meet in. Their job is to facilitate a welcoming, warm, and relatively distraction-free environment for small groups to meet in. The number of groups per home is determined based on the ministry and discernment of host home and staff in the host home contract. Time Commitment: 3 hours per week. College Leader - The goal for a college adult leader is to build transformative relationships with students. College students are seeking authentic relationships, on both a peer and mentor level. Therefore we ask our adult leaders to seize any and all opportunities to participate in the life of their students inside of church by leading small discussion groups on Tuesday nights, and being a part of various church events. Also, healthy relationships are encouraged outside of church by joining students in their life activities whether it be meeting for coffee, bike riding, etc. Time Commitment: 3-10 hours per week. servestudents.ylfc.org.
Elders Meeting Snacks - If you would like to help with providing a snack for the Elders meeting the 3rd Wednesday of each month, please contact B.J. Cloud at 714.779.5866.
Birth Choice Health Clinic, Inc. - Donate much needed baby items such as prenatal vitamins, diapers, clothing and gift certificates or donate your time by helping women through the short and long term effects of parenting, adoption and abortion or as a medical professional - RN's and sonographers are needed to provide testing and ultrasounds. Please contact Tracy, the Clinic Director, at 714.524.5545 for more information.
Men in Black - Help manage the platform by transitioning speakers, the worship team and band members on and off the stage. Light lifting may be required. One weekend per month, Saturdays 5:00pm-7:00pm, Sundays 8:00am-12:30pm. Email nikkin@ylfc.org or call 714.777.7360 for more information.

Parking Team - We are looking for friendly people to join our parking team, and be our first point of contact to our congregation and guests during our weekend services. This is a twice a month commitment and flexible with what time works for you. This is an easy and fun way to serve. Front Desk Receptionist - If you enjoy people and are looking for a great volunteer position during business hours once a week or more, we would love to speak with you about becoming a receptionist for the front office. Worship Center Cleaning - This is an excellent opportunity to help the church and get some exercise by picking up bulletins left from weekend services. Pre-Marriage and Marriage Coaches - Work with couples as they move towards marriage or assist couples in helping them navigate through various life challenges as a married couple. Missionary Care Team - Help care and communicate with our missionaries. Responsibilities will include communication, scheduling visits, Community Group adoptions, Christmas in September assistance, urgent prayer requests, and newsletter updates. Small Group Leader - Our small group leader's role is to lead a mid-week small group of students that meet Wednesday nights in approved host homes.
